This morning began like any other work day morning. Struggle to get ready by 7, fight grumpy WeeMan into his clothes, quick breakfast – “No don’t feed the pancakes to the dog, WeeMan!”, out the door and into the carseat, “Mommy doesn’t make the laws but you have to be buckled in for safety, WeeMan – so stop fighting mommy”, Back out of the garage, wait on the bus, hurry down the road. At the stop sign I looked into the rearview mirror and smiled. The radio was on, but I wasn’t really hearing it I was so busy planning my day and thinking of all the things that had to be done. When I looked in the mirror – there was my mohawked WeeMan – grinning and dancing away to the music. We sat at that stop sign a little extra longer and mommy danced too.

How completely appropriate and what a perfect reminder from my Heavenly Father via my WeeMan not to get so caught up in the daily grind that we miss the beautiful moments.
