Last week was another decent week for our menu plan. We only changed one night – the fish night and it was to use up leftovers… so I don’t feel bad at all. We also managed to only eat out twice – Saturday night for dinner and then half on Sunday b/c we picked up sandwiches after church and came home and made salads to go with them. We also stayed under budget for eating out and groceries. I budgeted $25 for eating out last week – we spent $23 and I budgeted $60 for groceries and we spent $55. Not bad – I’m definitely getting better at this.
So here’s the menu plan for this week
Monday – steaks on the George Foreman, waffle fries (cleaning out the freezer) and salad
Tuesday – Fish (for real this time), cheesy broccoli, cottage cheese
Wednesday – chicken fingers, baked beans, mac and cheese
Thursday – Chicken Noodle soup – fresh bread
Friday- pizza night
Saturday – out for my birthday
I was back to the doctor this morning. Waiting to hear about my numbers. Seem to spend a large portion of time waiting… I’d forgotten that.
